Rappers have sung about it, students have told stories about it and now Brooke Valentine will actually be doing it! Of course we’re talking about the Howard University homecoming party this weekend!
Brooke will be part of the festivities and will be singing as part of the most important afternoon shows titled “yardfest” which will be held on the main quad at noon! Surrounded by vendors, food booths and a number of activities Valentine will take the stage alongside Ludacris, Kelis, Talid Kweli and many many more!
What makes the event even better is admission is free whether your a student or not, just don’t be suckered into any local clubs offering “offical” after parties, the university claims they are not allowed to enter into contracts with any clubs.
What’s really great about this oppertunity is that virtually every big name promoter is trying to get their act on stage so the fact Brooke Valentine made it is even more important, no doubt she will get alot of publicity and the people who travel hundreds of miles will go home as converts.
